Amazon Kindle Fire在两个月内Android平板市场份额翻番
2011年11月,Kindle Fire进入市场,获得市场的广泛青睐。在Android平板市场内,Kindle Fire的市场份额在过去两个月几乎翻番,从2011年12月的29.4%上升到2012年2月份的54.4%,确立了其领先的地位。三星的Galaxy平板市场份额则降至15.4%,Motorola Xoom的市场份额则为7%,华硕的和东芝的平板电脑份额则分别为6.3%和5.7%。

大屏幕平板的内容消费更强
随着各款平板电脑的引入,美国平板电脑的普及率继续升高。目前这些平板电脑的主要差异体现在屏幕大小上面,典型的屏幕尺寸为10寸、9寸、7寸、5寸等。数据发现屏幕越大的平板电脑内容消费越高。通过对2012年2月,单台平板电脑的页面浏览量分析发现,10寸的平板电脑内容消费要比7寸的平板电脑高39%,比5寸的平板电脑要高58%。
